I went to Grand Marais in My Eddie Bauer expedition parka, insulated ski pants, Mad Bomber hat, and sneakers (to be sure-footed), and took these photos this afternoon.
It was +20F, but the wind off Lake Superior was wicked!
Looking Down
I love the broad scenic vistas, but I also like to look down and about, searching for unique shots.
Ice patterns fascinate me.
This is the a close-up of the tiniest puddle at the base of the Grand Marais breakwall.
