I like taking sunrise and sunset pictures, especially over water. I'll often frame or crop a photo to get rid of distractions. At other times, the "distractions" lend a sense of place or time.
In this photo, I was after the far-off outlines of the trees profiled against the setting sun.
Sunrise or sunset, doesn't matter. They both get my heart racing.
When using a telephoto lens, it helps to use a tripod! It eliminates the shaking hands.
I'll be posting lots of suns in the future.
